Problem:

When I try to export a document from a SDM section I get the following error:

Unhandled exception has occurred in a component in your application...

After I click Continue I get:

Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation Staging Area is not available


Solution:

It's possible that there's an open connection to the drive containing the Staging Area for SDM. Execute the following from the command line:

net use /delete *
