Product: E-Notebook Enterprise
Enumeration of the experiments in some Notebook is wrong after renaming the Notebook (enumeration does not continue, but starts from the very beginning again).
There are two workarounds for this issue:
1) If the Notebook affected by the issue contains a limited (from 2 to 6 experiments) you could do the following:
- Export all the experiments to XML
- Delete the troublesome Notebook
- Create a new one with the same name
- Import all the experiments back to the newly created Notebook
The only thing that would be lost this case is the experiments transition history. You'll also have to sign&close again any experiments that were sign&closed before the issue occured.
2) - Log in to ELN as the System Administrator
- Go to Configuration - Collection Types - Experiment (the name could be different depending on the type of Experiment used in the affected Notebook)
- Go to Collection Type Configuration - Collection Listeners
- Find the Auto Number listener (ENStandard9.AutoNumberListener) and delete that
- Restart the application
- Go to the troublesome Notebook and rename all the experiments manually as you like them to be named
- Go back to Configuration - Collection Types - Experiment
- Go to Collection Type Configuration - Collection Listeners
- Add a new listener (ENStandard9.AutoNumberListener) and name that Auto Number
- Restart the application.
Please bear in mind that disabling\enabling the listener would affect all the users that are currently using the software, so you'd better perform maintenance when the system is not being used.
