Library not registered: ELN sign and close error

User reported the following ELN errors when trying to SIGN & CLOSE an experiment on one particular computer:

--Note: The error occurs regardless of whether or not the experiement has an excel or word document attached. Same error message for both.
--Note: User manually registered the library mentioned on the error message, ENStandardCtl9.ocx, but this did not fix the problem.

SOLUTION:

The main problem was the Adobe version.

Steps taken to resolve this issue at a customer site:

1. Did a detect & repair of MS Excel 2003 and MS Word 2003
2. Found E-Notebook file versions to be incorrect; Did a complete reinstall of E-Notebook to apply all patches.
3. Uninstalled Adobe 8.1.6 and installed Adobe 8.1.0.
4. Confirmed that user could view Adobe PDF files in Adobe/ ChemImage sections & perform Sign and Close.
