Problem:
How to remove list search for CAS fields
Solution:
1. Log into the application server
2. Go to C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\ChemOffice\ChemInv\config
3. Create a backup copy of the cheminv.ini file
4. Open the original cheminv.ini file:
4.1. Locate the section [GS_FORM_GROUP]
4.2. Locate the SEARCHABLE_ADO_FIELDS key
4.3. Change CAS;5 to CAS;0
4.4. Locate the section [GS_NP_FORM_GROUP]
4.5. Locate the SEARCHABLE_ADO_FIELDS key
4.6. Change CAS;5 to CAS;0
5. Save changes and close the file
6. Perform an IISReset
