Problem:

Special character like ĹÄÖÜ retrieved using the MySQL connector, are garbled in TIBCO Spotfire client


Solution:

When using the Oracle MySQL connector and the data base contains special characters like Ĺ, Ä, Ö, Ü... the characters will not be correct.
