IronPython Script UI not rendered correctly

The IronPython Script UI may not be rendered correctly as shown below, as a result of which the user is unable to write new or edit existing Python Scripts.
Similar issues may also be encountered when editing any custom expression (Data > Add Calculated column).

Resolution:

 This issue only occurs when a custom extension has been deployed in the concerned environment. And the custom extension has a reference to the ScintillaNET.dll. Since Spotfire also internally uses ScintillaNET.dll, it is recommended that this 'dll' from the custom extension project is not included when creating the package.
