Problem:

Spotfire Node Services(Web Player,Automation Services) doesn't show the correct version after upgrade


Solution:

After performing the Spotfire upgrade from 7.X.X version to 7.Y.Y you may still see that Spotfire Node services at version 7.X.X. To resolve this issue, make sure to deploy the TIBCO Spotfire Client Deployment Kit for the upgrade versions (i.e 7.Y.Y) on Spotfire server and then update the "Web Player" & "Automation Services" services.

Note:

  • The version of Spotfire Node depends on the Spotfire.Dxp.NodeManagerWindows.sdn that is deployed to the Spotfire Server
  • The version of Spotfire Web Player service/AutomationServices  depends on the Spotfire client deployment Spotfire.Dxp.sdn.
