Problem:

Remove "Modified Files" and "My Recent Files" entries from Web Library display.


Solution:


Customers would like to remove or suppress "Modified Files" and "My Recent Files" entries from the online library browsing screen. This presents a possible security concern for the organization, as Web Player users should not see, or have possible access to, any files showing in the "Modified Files" list.

Resolution

You can suppress certain portions of the WebPlayer Library by adding a 'showlist' argument to the end of the URL. For example:

http://example-wp.example.com/SpotfireWeb/Library.aspx?showlist=library - Only show "Library Browser"

http://example-wp.example.com/SpotfireWeb/Library.aspx?showlist=changed - Only show "Modified Files"

http://example-wp.example.com/SpotfireWeb/Library.aspx?showlist=mru - Only show "My Recent Files"
