Problem:

Is there a way to use to register dispersions created with two separate compounds in Registration?


Solution:

Registration provides the 'Mixtures' feature to allow the creation of entries that consist of two or more components specifying the percentages of those components. To enable 'Mixtures' follow these steps:

  1. Log into CBOE with an administrator user
  2. Browse to 'Registration' > 'Customize Registration' > 'System Settings'
  3. Click on the 'Registration' tab
  4. Set 'Enable Mixtures' to 'TRUE'
  5. Click 'Save'
  6. Browse to 'Security' > 'Manage Roles'
  7. Select 'View Roles From: Registration'
  8. Select the Role you wish to be able to create Mixtures e.g. 'SUPERVISING_CHEMICAL_ADMIN'
  9. Click 'Edit'
  10. Mark the check box for 'ADD_COMPONENT'
  11. Click 'Save'
  12. Log off CBOE and log back in to see the changes
