Problem:
Inventory will not allow saving Plates in a specific location
Solution:
This occurs if the location is configured to allow only containers or other locations. To change the settings perform the following steps:
- Log into Inventory with an administrator account
- Click 'Browse'
- In the 'Location tree' select the problem location
- Go to the 'Location menu' and click 'Edit'
- In the 'Edit Location' window select a specific plate type (e.g 'Assay Plate') in the 'Allowed Plate Types' section
- Click 'OK' to save changes
