Problem:

Error message when clicking Custom Properties for an ELN/CBOE integration form tool


Solution:

The following error message is displayed when clicking Custom Properties for an ELN/CBOE integration form tool:

"...the add-in implementation of form tool ... can not be instantiated"

This error is displayed when:

  1. The implementation used for the form tool is not valid or corrupt
  2. The associated LaunchInformaticsForm.dll is missing from the ELN bin folder in the client machine
