Error Loading: the edit type of the field "Preparation" is not specified

The reason of this error has been documented in our E-Notebook migration documentation:

"The issue happens if the system has Styled Text Plus field type. This field is only present in the systems migrated from ELN V8. Upgrade Toolkit changes all the Autotext, Styled Text and Styled Text Plus fields to ENStandard9.StyledTextFactory. But the Form Controls of the Styled Text Plus will be blank."


SOLUTION:

1. Log into E-Notebook as an administrator.
2. Go to Data -> System -> Global Add-ins -> Form Controls.
3. Click on Configuration icon to the right from Implementation.
4. Select the "Styled Text Plus".
5. Update the values as below:

Field Control Assembly: EnhancedControls
Field Control Class: CambridgeSoft.EnhancedControls.Text.StyledTextControl

6. Save the changes.
7. Close the dialog and System Configuration window.
8. Refresh application (View -> Refresh All).
