There are two options to save while working on an Excel section: the embedded save option in Excel and the ELN save button. If the user was saving using Excel then it his work was not being sent to the database. The correct option is to use the Save button from the ELN menu. To prevent this kind of issues it is recommended to implement auto-save intervals in ELN.
