Problem:

E-Notebook hangs when navigating from a PPT section if external PowerPoint application has a presentation in Protected View mode


Solution:

WORKAROUND-1:

Click “Enable Editing” button on the “Protected View” bar.

WORKAROUND-2:

Disable Protected View mode in PowerPoint. For that, open MS PowerPoint 2010, go to menu File -> Options -> select “Trust Center” from the left sidebar -> click “Trust Center Settings…” button in the main window. In the “Trust Center” dialog window, select “Protected View” from the left sidebar, and disable protected view for any desired option. Click "OK".
