ENClienConfig.xml has been modified so it is possible to choose Test or Prod at login time. If the user launches ELN as herself the drop-down is not available. If she chooses "Run as administrator" then the drop-down appears and login is successful. OS is

Problem:

ENClienConfig.xml has been modified so it is possible to choose Test or Prod at login time. If the user launches ELN as herself the drop-down is not available. If she chooses "Run as administrator" then the drop-down appears and login is successful.

OS is Windows 7
No clickonce
ELN 12.1.2.


Solution:

There are two ENClientConfig.xml files on that computer: one for the Windows admin user and another for the regular user. Please go to to C:\Users\user_id\AppData\Local\CambridgeSoft\Enotebook\12.1 and replace file ENClienteConfig with the one found in C:\ProgramData\CambridgeSoft\E-Notebook\12.1
