Is it possible to set the default file type to ".txt" while exporting data to file?

Is it possible to set the default file type to ".txt" while exporting data to file?

While exporting data to file in Spotfire Analyst Client, using "File==Export==>Data to File" feature, there are options to set the file format to txt, xls and more. There is no way to set the default format of this file as ".txt" so that it takes ".txt" format every time the data is exported to file. The file format needs to be selected every time, while saving the file after selecting File==>Export==>Data to file. The file will be saved in the format selected under "Save as type", as shown below.
