Problem:

No Schemas/Tables visible when using PostgreSQL data source via Spotfire Information services


Solution:

When you try to view Schema/Tables in a PostgreSQL datasource from Information Services, no entries are displayed. One of the reasons for this issue the presence of conflicting PostgreSQL JDBC jar file located under [Spotfire Server Installation Directory]\tomcat\lib or  [Spotfire Server Installation Directory]\tomcat\webapps\spotfire\WEB-INF\lib folders.

To resolve this issue, remove any conflicting or duplicate JDBC jar files from the Spotfire Server folders and then restart the Spotfire Server Service
