Tibco Spotfire Server: How to find the Spotfire Server java memory settings from its Windows service

When Spotfire Server is running as a Windows service, there is no direct way to find the min and max memory settings for this service. 
 
Login to the machine where the Spotfire Server is installed.
  •  Open a command prompt and browse to the tomcat\bin folder in the Spotfire Server installation directory (eg:- C:\tibco\tss\12.0.4\tomcat\bin).
  •  Run the command - tomcat9w.exe  //ES//servicename
The servicename can be retrieved from the properties of the "Tibco Spotfire Server 12.0.4" service listed in Windows Services.
The default format is Tss followed by the version number.
 
For Spotfire 12.0.4:  
tomcat9w.exe  //ES/Tss1204
Running this command opens a properties dialogue, the dialog's Java tab shows the min/max memory settings that are currently set for this Spotfire Server instance.
