I am receiving an error when attempting to extract and install Spotfire S+.
Unzipping and extracting the package provided in the fulfillment order link should be the only necessary steps for successful install. However, if you are encountering an error, there may be some issues with your system allowances. Here are a couple of possible solutions:
1. When you click on the link, choose "Save" instead of "Run". Saving the file to your C:\ drive will minimize possible corruption.
2. The error you received may also be the result of an overactive anti-virus program that you have installed on your computer. The Spotfire S+ installation manual suggests temporarily disabling this until installation is complete.
3. A further option if the above do not work is to right-click on your .exe file and choose to "Run as Administrator". This may bypass certain permissions required to download on your system.
