Revvity Signals error: This package requires Java v1.8 x64, which is not found and cannot be installed by the dependency manager

Problem:

In the Apps Dependency Manager*, you could see the following error message, even though Java 1.8 has been installed:

Use Taskbar search to find and open Edit environment details for your account. Then check to ensure your JAVA_HOME environment variable is set to a similar path:

If you've done this and are still getting this dependency error, please run the following test:

• Ensure you have 64-bit Java version installed.
• Use Taskbar search to find and open Command Prompt, then run the following command to display Java version:

$ java -version

If 64-Bit returned, that is the version that is installed.
