Create a map for a Measurement Type in Data Factory

For Administrators only.

Prior to this task:

✔ Measurement type must be created.

*Required.

1️⃣ Signals Configuration ➡ select [Data Factory]
2️⃣ Data Factory pane ➡ select Measurement Types
3️⃣ Measurement Types section ➡ All Measurement Types ➡ select measurement type
4️⃣ Measurement Type Definition area ➡ select [Create Map]
5️⃣ Measurement Type Map area ➡ type Name* Description (optional)
6️⃣ Measurement Type Map area ➡ type column name to the corresponding attribute
7️⃣ Measurement Type  Map area ➡ select [Save]

Supporting Knowledge

Note: Alternatively, you can select the [Browse] button under Guided Data Selection to load a local data file (.csv or .txt). The column names from the file are extracted and will be displayed in a dropdown menu, allowing the user to choose from a guided list.
