In this example, the ‘out of the box’ 4P Dose Response Assay demo data and workflow is used.
Steps to Display Different Curve Fits on Different Data
1. Add all desired curve fits during the curve‑fitting step
Calculation Explorer Controls → Manage Fittings → + New
2. Duplicate the curve-fit visualization
Right‑click the existing curve-fit graph and select “Duplicate visualization.”
This creates a copy you can customize independently, allowing multiple fits to be displayed simultaneously for different data subsets without having to start from scratch.
3. Adjust curve-fit settings for each visualization
Click the gear icon in the upper-right corner of the duplicated visualization to open Properties.
Go to Lines & Curves.
Choose which curve fit(s) you want displayed in that specific visualization.
4. Control which data each visualization uses
Option A: Limit data using markings
- Open Properties → Data
- Scroll to Limit data using markings
- Select Marking
This makes the visualization respond to your selected (marked) data elsewhere in the analysis, letting you filter visualizations dynamically.
Option B: Limit data using an expression
You can also restrict each visualization to a specific subset by using a filter expression.
This is helpful when you want to limit the data using consistent, rule‑based control.
