Add a Batch/Lot to a Material in a Material library in Signals

Prior to this task: 

✔ Materials must exist to be able to add Batch/Lot.

1️⃣ Signals Dashboard ➡ select [Materials]
2️⃣ Materials ➡ select [down arrow] ➡ select material type
3️⃣ Materials ➡ select desired material
4️⃣ Material ➡ select Batch tab
5️⃣ Material ➡ select [New Batch]
6️⃣ Add New Batch window ➡ fill in desired fields
7️⃣ Add New Batch window ➡ select [Add Salts & Solvates]
8️⃣ Add New Batch window ➡ select [Add Batch]

Supporting Knowledge

Note that adding a Batch or a Lot to a Material is much the same process and outcome. A Material can be setup to have Batch or Lot capabilities or none at all.

When adding Salts and Solvates; two tabs will appear at the bottom of the window:

• Salts    
• Solvates

After adding the Batch, the new Batch will be listed in the Compound window under the Batch tab.
