Signals One - Spotfire: Loading Indicator Stuck at 100% Blocking Analysis in Web Player for Firefox (Update: Fixed in 26.3 release)

Issue Description

Update: This issue has since been resolved in April 2026 for versions 26.3 and later.

When accessing Signals Spotfire via the Signals One web player (version 26.2) using Firefox version 148 and later, the loading indicator displays "Opening Signals Spotfire..." and completes all 4 steps to 100% but remains visible on screen. The page appears to load but is unresponsive, and this prevents users from interacting with the analysis.

Affected Versions

Update: This issue no longer affects versions after the 26.3 update was released in April 2026.

• Signals One: 26.2 (Released March 2026)
• Firefox: 148 and later

To check your Firefox version, click the menu button (three horizontal lines) in the top-right corner, select Help, and then About Firefox. A window will appear displaying the version number, and it will automatically check for updates. On Mac, you can click "Firefox" in the menu bar and select "About Firefox"

This issue is caused by a recent update in Firefox version 148.0 and is specific to that browser. Chrome, Edge, and other browsers are not affected.

Solution

Update: This issue was fixed in update 26.3 released in April 2026.

When the issue was active in version 26.2, the workaround was to use an alternative browser such as:
