Description
Visual comparison of several predicted properties across a small series of analogs can be done via radar (spider) plots. Even if plotted in an external tool, Percepta predictions provide the underlying values.
Solution
- For a series of analogs, export Percepta predictions for a chosen property set, for example:
- logP/logD.
- Solubility.
- Predicted clearance.
- Polar surface area (if available).
- Any key toxicity risk scores or counts.
- Normalize or scale each property to a common range for plotting.
- In a plotting tool (e.g., spreadsheet with radar chart capability):
- Create a radar plot where each axis represents one property.
- Plot each analog as a separate polygon on the same chart.
- Use the radar plot to visually identify:
- Analogs with more balanced profiles.
- Outliers with extreme values for one or more properties.
- Discuss the visual patterns with project teams to decide which analogs to prioritize.
- Keep track of how radar plots evolve as more data (experimental or predicted) accumulate.
