Signals Notebook: How to Keep the Text element Toolbar Pinned

When users are editing long text content in Signals Notebook, they want the toolbar of the Text element to remain accessible without scrolling. This article provides guidance on how to fix the toolbar in the Text element of Signals Notebook to the top of the screen.

Solution

To pin the toolbar in the Text element of Signals Notebook, follow these steps:

1. Move your mouse cursor over the "＞" symbol located to the right of the Text element name. A hint will appear saying "View Full size".

   

2. Click on the "＞" symbol to switch the Text element to full-review mode. The toolbar will be fixed to the top of the screen. Use the fixed toolbar: In this state, the toolbar will remain at the top of the screen even when you scroll down to the end of the text for editing.
