Signals Notebook: Is there a way to reuse the Material ID of a compound that was deleted from the library

Details: A material asset was deleted by mistake and recreating it with the same Material ID is necessary to keep the associated records and containers.

Solution: Due to audit concerns and technical limitations once a material has been deleted it is removed from the application and reusing the Material ID is not possible.
The Material ID has been setup as a unique identifier in the application’s database that cannot be reused.
Existing links to the material will remain unchanged but the page will become inaccessible.
