Signals Notebook: Why only System Admins can create Task Templates

Summary

In Signals Notebook, only users with the System Admin role can create, edit, or manage Task Templates. Users with configuration, request management, or other administrative roles cannot access Task Template management unless they are assigned the System Admin role.

Cause

Non-System Admin users cannot create or manage Task Templates because Signals Notebook restricts Task Template management to the System Admin role by design.

Resolution

If Task Template creation or modification is required

• Ask a System Admin to create or update the required Task Template.
