Signals Notebook: What is the difference between Archiving and Trashing items?

ARCHIVING

The "Archived" state is a part of Administrative Improvements released in version 22.3 of Signals Notebook. Our "What's New" page provides some explanation on its purpose and possible workflows:

TRASHING

Trashing is more like disposing of items, e.g. when they were created by mistake. If you want to delete the trashed items permanently, administrator can configure it under System Settings > Other > Deletion > check "Permanent Deletion".
