ChemDraw for Excel: Structures are exported as images using the Copy as MS Word Table option

Structures are exported as images using the Copy as MS Word Table option. How do I make the editable structures?

Solution:

Once you create a new ChemOffice Worksheet, you can create a table by adding structures to your first column (column A) and naming that column as "Structure".

You can then export this as a table to MS Word, but the resulting structures may not be editable in ChemDraw once you open the table in MS Word.

To correct this, please change the default setting from Bitmap to OLE Object under Options > Preferences > Copy Structure to MS Word as follows:
