ChemDraw: ChemSketch Takes Control of ChemDraw OLE Objects

ChemSketch Takes Control of ChemDraw OLE Objects. How do I correct this?

If you have both programs on the same computer, by default ChemSketch takes over ChemDraw objects. ChemDraw structures pasted in MS Office documents will open in ChemSketch when you double-click on them.

To solve this:

Turn off this setting in ChemSketch.  As a result, items created in ChemSketch will open in ChemSketch and items created in ChemDraw open in ChemDraw.

In File | File Associations deselect "CS ChemDraw OLE Object"
