Signals Notebook: uploading a non UTF8 txt file to an experiment changes the format to UTF8

When a .txt file in any format different than UTF8 is uploaded to an experiment, it changes the format to UTF8. If the original file has symbols like the Celsius symbol, it will be lost.

Resolution: this is working as designed. Signals Notebook works with UTF8 format only, to avoid problems we recommend saving the files in UTF8 format before uploading them.
