The following steps can be used to bypass the SciStream function:
Open Spotfire > File and data flyout > Other > Instrument Files with SciStream. Select any CSV file.
Workaround:
Switch the Windows client machine's keyboard / regional settings from German (or another non-English language) to US(English). This exact solution applied in one scenario, where German keyboard / regional settings were used.
In a broader sense, for non-English region Windows environments, the workaround to using SciStream function is likely going to be to use a file format setting that does not use a comma as the delimiter for dates and/or for numeric values.
