Note: Harmony version 5.0.2012.1957 or greater natively support connections to Image Artist. If you're using Harmony version 4.9, you may need to patch the Harmony software. Refer to: Image Artist: Why can I not establish a connection from Harmony v4.9?
Prerequisites
- The Harmony PC must be able to connect to the Image Artist server via TCP port 443.
- The Image Artist server must be able to connect to the Harmony ODA workstation via TCP port 80.
Configuring Image Artist:
1. Hostname Resolution
The Image Artist server must resolve the short (non fully-qualified) hostname of the Harmony ODA workstation to the correct IP address.

EXTRA_HOSTentries must include the name and IP address of of the Harmony ODA workstation, in the following formathostname:ip_address. See below example where the Harmony PC name is harmonyODA and the IP is 10.11.12.13.

After updating the .env file, redeploy the Image Artist container stack. Refer to: Image Artist: How do I redeploy the container stack?
Configuring the connection within Harmony:
1. In Harmony, log in as the user account that should be configured to transfer data to Image Artist.
2. Select ‘Settings’ and click on ‘User Accounts’.
Re-authenticate using the same Harmony user account credentials as in step 1.
3. Select ‘Manage Columbus Account’.
4. Fill out the required fields then select ‘OK’.
Columbus URL: Hostname of the Image Artist server.
Columbus User Account: Image Artist user account that the data will be transferred into.
Columbus Password: Password of the aforementioned Image Artist account.
Note: If multiple Harmony user accounts are to be used for data transfer, steps 1-5 must be repeated for each Harmony user account.
Manual Data Transfer:
1. In Harmony, log in to the user account you wish to use to when transferring data to Image Artist.
2. Select ‘Settings’ and click on ‘Data Management’.
3. Select ‘Columbus Transfer’.
4. Select the dataset(s) to be transferred, as well as the Screen within Image Artist that the data should be transferred into, then select 'Start'.
5. The progress of the transfer job can be monitored via the Harmony and/or Image Artist Job Status pages.
