When trying to activate my ChemDraw v18.0/v18.1 license, the Host ID is displaying a limited set of alphanumeric characters and a box. Why is there no proper Host ID being shown, and I receive the HostID/Activation code mismatch error?

This incorrect HostID occurs in ChemDraw v18.0 or v18.1, and can be corrected by upgrading to ChemDraw v19.0. If an attempt to activate has been made with this incorrect HostID, then contact  Support to have the Device ID fixed in the Download Center:
