Double clicking on a ChemDraw structure in a Word document for editing purposes does not seem to be working right. After making changes, the structure either does not show the changes in the Word document or it changes to a completely different structure.

This feature, called OLE Editing, is not working properly. The OLE link to the structure may have been damaged or lost. Copy the structure out of Word, and paste into ChemDraw. Edit the structure. Now copy and paste the new structure back into Word. This procedure should update the structure so that the OLE problem does not occur. Some improvements to the OLE code have been made in ChemDraw 6.0, so upgrading to the latest version may also prevent the problem from occuring.
