How can I choose the default drawing and text settings?

Drawing and text settings are stored in Style Sheets (Windows) or Stationery (Mac) documents. Some versions of ChemDraw allow the user to create personalized style sheets. 

You can either choose a personalized style sheet or one of the style sheets we have provided to set as the default. The last style sheet you had open when you quit ChemDraw will be the default style sheet when you launch ChemDraw, and when you choose New from the File menu while ChemDraw is open. Therefore, launch ChemDraw, close the untitled document that opens when you launch ChemDraw, choose the style sheet of choice from the Open Special menu (Windows menu for Mac ChemDraw 6.0 or lower users), and quit ChemDraw. Now the next time you launch ChemDraw, your style sheet will be the default.
