Problem:
Is there a way to see who performed a specific change in Signals Notebook?
Solution:
Signals Notebook offers an 'Audit Log' that traces changes made to internal objects. To access it follow these steps:
- Log into Signals Notebook with an administrator user
- From the username dropdown menu select 'System Configuration'
- In the system configuration page click on 'Audit Log'
- Use the filters to search for actions performed in the system
Additional information on Audit log:
- Signals Notebook provides auditing feature that allows the administrator user to monitor every change made to Signals Notebook data by any user in the tenant whether it is a standard, config admin or system admin user.
- An audit trail records automatically all the actions that have been made in Signals Notebook and in Signals Notebook System Configuration.
- In Signals Notebook System Configuration, as an admin user, you can create and run queries to look for actions performed on resources at specific range of time.
- The audit log information is stored in database, and it brings back data based on the query run in back end.
- Currently the Signals Notebook 'Audit Log' does not record API exports, the log will only reflect activities performed directly in the application
