Problem:
Unable to open Salesforce login URL when prompted to log in to Salesforce, while opening a dashboard in Web Player.
Solution:
While opening a dashboard created on Salesforce, in Web Player, the following error can be seen.
Enable federated authentication for the Salesforce connector in web clients by providing the "Consumerkey", "ConsumerSecret" and "RedirectPorts" for Salesforce connector. This can be done by following the steps mentioned in the "Configuring the Salesforce connector in Spotfire section" of the documentation. Without this, "Login with Salesforce" option will not work.
