How to Delete the TIBCO Spotfire Node Manager Service from the Command Line in Spotfire 7.10 and 7.11.

The following procedure can be helpful in deleting the Node Manager service and then adding it back, using the command line. This can be helpful in case the Node Manager service is stuck and it's not possible to stop it normally. In that case, the Node Manager service can be deleted using the command line, without losing the Node Manager configuration and without uninstalling the Node Manager completely.

In order to remove the Node Manager Services from the command line, delete the service file for the node manager, that is "winsw.exe.config" for version 7.10 and 7.11.

Steps to remove the Node Manager services:

1. On the Node Manager Machine, open a 'Command Prompt' in Administrator mode.
2. Browse to the directory  "Node Manager Installation Directory\tsnm\<Node Manager Version>\nm".
3. Type the command "winsw.exe uninstall winsw.exe.config".
4. To install the service back, type the command "winsw.exe install winsw.exe.config".
