Sometimes when I rotate the molecule with trackball, it rotates at normal speed, but when I let up on the mouse button it takes a long time to return.
Solution:
The slowness may be a result of the number of frames your document has. Try removing frames. Use the Clear Frames option (see your manual for the location of this option for your version) to remove frames.
