After installing ChemDraw 19.x for Mac, I am not always able to open ChemDraw and receive a warning message that ChemDraw quit unexpectedly.
Solution:
If you are not able to launch the ChemDraw application (from the Application folder), please check your Proxies setting (System Settings > Network).

Under the Network section, select the network you are connected to (Ethernet or WiFi).

Then click on the Details Button, you will get the following dialog box, check the proxy setting.

If you have “SOCKS Proxy” selected and your SOCKS Proxy Server points Localhost Port No 8080 then uncheck “SOCKS Proxy” then click OK .
Then try to open ChemDraw from the Macintosh HD\Application folder
If the issue persists, please check if you are eligible for an upgrade to a more recent version of ChemDraw in your download portal.
