ChemDraw for Excel: Instead of structures in my Excel spreadsheet, I see strange characters

Instead of structures in my Excel spreadsheet, I see strange characters.

If you are on a non-US American Windows version of Windows, try opening the Regional Settings Control panel, and change your settings to use US American settings. Then recreate the spreadsheet.
