ChemDraw: I copied a structure from another program and when I pasted it into ChemDraw, nothing appeared

I copied a structure from another program like Word or PowerPoint, and when I pasted into ChemDraw, nothing appeared.

Your structure might be corrupted. To fix it, try double clicking on the structure in the other application to edit it with ChemDraw tools. Once the ChemDraw tools appear, close and return to Word. Now try copying and pasting into ChemDraw.
