Can I import a CIS Pro database into ChemFinder?
Solution:
Tables in a Paradox database, which is the database used by CISPro, can be attached using the Attach Table button in the Database tab of the properties dialog like other non-Access format files. However there are two issues when using this data that you should be aware of:
- Searches are case sensitive.
- When a search is performed in some fields doing a Search-Find brings up the following message: "'#Temporary QueryDef#' isn't an index in this table. Look in the Indexes collection of the TableDef object to determine the valid index names." Microsoft Access also gives the same error.
