Why does TIBCO Spotfire Web Player complain about incorrect username or password after entering correct credentials in the data source credential prompt?

Details:

While accessing a Spotfire analysis file that does not have the data source credentials saved within the analysis file, the TIBCO Spotfire Web Player will prompt for data source credentials when the file is opened. The data fetched from the data source here can be through connectors or through ODBC connection. After entering the correct data source credentials in the prompt, it might still complain about incorrect username or password as below:

This issue can be seen if the correct driver for the data source is not installed on the Node Manager server.

In case the issue described above is seen, it should be made sure that the correct driver for the data source is installed on the Node Manager server. The required driver for the connectors can be found in the Spotfire Connectors documentation
