ChemDraw: ChemDraw activation error: Activation failed with error code: -7

Activation failed with error code: -7

The error suggests that there is an issue with permissions on the 'RevvitySignalsSoftware' folder located at following location of Windows 10 machine:
C:\ProgramData\RevvitySignalsSoftware

Please follow the steps below to provide the full control permission to this folder:

1. Right click on the "RevvitySignalsSoftware" folder.
2. Go to Properties - Security.
3. Click on Edit and check 'Full Control'.
4. Click on Apply - Ok.
5. Try activating ChemDraw now.

Note: For older versions of ChemDraw replace RevvitySignalsSoftware with PerkinElmerInformatics in the instructions.
