When you launch ChemDraw it indicates you do not have a license for this application (Status 401). After you login it works fine, but upon closing and reopening the software it gives the same error and prompts for your credentials every time you start application.
SOLUTION
This issue can happen if the keychain entry for ChemDraw does not include the current version, or if there is no entry for com.revvity.chemdraw.signals-token
- First launch the Keychain Access software. In MacOS 15.x you may need to use the Spotlight and search for the application there.
Look for "com.revvity.chemdraw.signals-token". If present, confirm that ChemDarw or ChemDraw 25 are listed under Access Control, remove them and add it again. If only an older version is listed, click the + button and add ChemDraw from your Applications folder.
If "com.revvity.chemdraw.signals-token" is not listed, look for a keychain file under
"~/users/username/library/keychains". If you find a keychain file there with this entry, select the file and copy it to the "~/Library/Keychains" folder
Then proceed to step 2 to add ChemDraw to the Access Control list.
