Spectrus: Combining NMR Data from Multiple Field Strengths (400 & 600 MHz) to characterize a single compound

The same compound may be measured at different field strengths. Combining these spectra in a single Spectrus record provides a richer dataset for teaching, method comparison, or advanced analysis.

Solution

1. Import spectra from each field (e.g., 400, 500, 600 MHz) into the same Spectrus project, ensuring they are associated with the same structure.
2. Clearly label each spectrum with its field strength and instrument in metadata.
3. Process each spectrum independently (phase, baseline, referencing).
4. Compare:
   • Chemical shifts (should match within small tolerances).
