Description
Users received authentication errors when attempting to log into SpectrusJS/ManagerJS.
Investigation indicated invalid credentials and potential LDAP/Keycloak synchronization issues. The root cause was an internal account problem within the customer’s network, which, once corrected, restored normal authentication.
Solution
- Verify whether service account credentials used for LDAP/Keycloak integration have changed or expired.
- Check Keycloak and application processing logs (e.g., keycloak.log and processing-YYYY-MM-DD.log) in typical install directories (e.g., E:\spjs_data\keycloak and E:\spjs_data\zathras) for authentication/LDAP errors.
- Confirm LDAP connectivity and that user/group synchronization to Keycloak is functioning (test bind DN and password).
- Update or reset the affected internal account credentials and ensure they match configured values in Keycloak and application services.
- Restart relevant services (Keycloak and ProcessorJS/ManagerJS) after updating credentials.
- Retest user login with known-good accounts to confirm resolution.
